about

BrainStrain EP John Matrix second publication on Subotage Records sets off at a fresh spanking rate of 170 Bpm. The titelsong BrainStrain imprints the melody and the propulsive rhythm on the listeners memory using overdriven sound just on the verge of distortion. The following tune BassGo takes no prisoners on the dancefloor as well. Distinctive outstanding vocals on Honey Badger fan the flame right at the beginning and impulsive percussions rattling metal and a thunderous subbass emphasise the mainfloorability of the song. Musha sounds similar to a furious anabolic dependent fighting robot that gives the dancefloor an acoustical good trashing. The song Concepts closes the second EP of John Matrix. Characteristic jazz oriented brass sounds a striking ultralow end and straight forward programmed drum patterns leave an impressive mark on the BrainStrain EP. Lets go for it!
